Camila Sodi, born Camila Ía González Sodi on May 14, 1986, in Mexico City, actively built a career as a Mexican actress, singer, and model. A member of the prominent Sodi family and niece of famed singer-actress Thalía, she began her career modeling and hosting a music video show on TeleHit. She gained recognition through her leading role in the telenovela Inocente de Ti (2004–2005) and later starred in Rubí (2020). Sodi also appeared in films such as Niñas Mal and El búfalo de la noche (both in 2007), and Camino a Marte (2017), and she ventured into music by releasing the album Ella & El Muerto in 2013.
